Outspoken. Laid back. A leader. How else would you describe a self professed “California Girl”? When she’s not “bringing home the bacon” with Pederson’s, you’ll find Brittany hitting the waves on her surf board and hanging out with friends while they enjoy local microbrews and take advantage of California’s wine regions.
Brittany’s beginning with Pederson’s is as intriguing as she is! She made a lasting impression via a quick Skype interview at a wedding and the rest is history!
For someone that’s been in a rock band, a Skype interview at a wedding is probably no big deal. Not just rock…heavy metal. “Guilt by Association, that was the name of our band. I was in the band from the time I was 14 till in my 20’s. The biggest venue we ever played was a large concert in Mexico City…we stayed after and signed autographs for over three hours.” With a reminiscent smile and a bit of mischief in her voice, Brittany continued with, “we signed everything from posters to photos to shirts, arms, legs…we were pretty big…in Mexico.”
As if working for Pederson’s, surfing, wine country road tripping, and being in a rock band weren’t enough to place on her life’s resume, Brittany also enjoys photography. “”Photography is a real passion…I do family photos and interior design work. It’s something I really enjoy, I just don’t have much time for it.”
You can’t help but wonder what someone so eclectic thinks about the future of Pederson’s…her answer was simple…”Ummm….world domination…duh.”
A few Pederson’s fun facts about Brittany:
Favorite flavor of Pederson’s bacon – “Jalapeno. I really like spicy and it has that little bit of zing. Bacon is awesome in general and my next favorite thing is spicy so it’s the best of both worlds.”
Favorite non-bacon Pederson’s product – “Jalapeno and Cheese Smoked Sausage. Are you noticing a trend here?”
Who she’d share a plate of bacon with – “Dave Matthews. He’s my favorite artist and he has a great story. It would be pretty sweet to share a plate of bacon with him.”
Who’d she’d trade jobs with at Pederson’s for one day – “I wanna drive the forklift.”
Favorite Pederson’s moment – “I would have to say getting my first new large account unassisted…on my own.”
What she wants folks to know about Pederson’s – “We’re more than a brand, we’re a family. We’re a company that’s more than a label, we are connected to our products.”
